I have studied the martial arts for over 35 years and have black belts in TKD, Hapkido, Kenpo and Eskrima. I have studied about 10 other martial arts to varying degree. Expertise: Cybersecurity: Over 30 years experience in security and law enforcement, including Cybersecurity. I have worked in leadership positions for such companies as Booz Allen Hamilton, Computer Sciences Corporation and InfoZen, as well as for the Federal government at the Army Research Lab. My specialties lie in healthcare IT security, computer forensics, security assessments, and industrial control systems/SCADA security. Education and Training: I have been an educator and trainer for over 20 years training in both the Cybersecurity and Business arena. I have taught at universities as well as private companies. I am a certified instructor with ISC2, and I am a Certified Technical Trainer. I am an adjunct professor at Excelsior College and I teach Cybersecurity courses at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College via contract. Law Enforcement: I was a Federal agent for 18 years with the Department of Treasury, U.S Postal Service, Department of Education, Army CID, and Air Force Office of Special Investigations. Military: I served in the Navy for 2 years, Air Force for 15 years and Army National Guard for 8 years. Leadership: I have held many leadership positions and I have completed doctorial studies in organizational leadership at Nova Southeastern University. I am currently earning a Doctorate in Business Administration from Walden University. I also possess an MBA.
