Started my martial arts training at 18 taking Goju-Ryu from a small school down the street. After roughly a year, moved on to American Eclectic style, based primarily on Tae Kwon Do. After roughly a year of that, i took several years of Fencing through college. After college, took a style of Kaju Kempo that looked a whole lot like Shotokan. At 27, went back to college and took Tai Chi / Chi Kung / Push Hands in the morning to stay awake after working night shifts, After my second bout of college, took to competitive Fencing again for roughly 3 years until my knees gave out. After that, a form of Kenpo based roughly on Ed Parker's style, but without the forms or techniques. After that, i started a form of Shorin-Ryu taught by a co-worker. I made it to one step before black belt before work demands made it unavailable. Now I am taking BB@Home Shotokan Karate and Tai Chi.
